5129Ran 100 feet of copper supply line from water meter to house, bypassing the old galvanized line. New hook-ups/shut-offs at meter and house.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
I had a water leak in the yard, the source turned out to be the supply line from the meter, going into the home. It had been a slow leak, but when I showed up at the house (a rental) It looked like a swamp with mosquitos. This company had been recommended by a friend of mine, and I had 2 other bids coming in the next day....I am not familiar with costs, but I choked on the $2300.00. Danny said he would not mend the old galvanized, but would run new copper pipe from the meter and give me new hook-ups. I was reluctant because I always get 3 bids, but this was an emergency . He went ahead and started that day and finished the next day. There was a problem afterwards, someone had forgotten a step in coupling the copper line, but Danny came over on his DAY OFF, dug down and found the source of the problem and he rectified the problem right then and there. He was very apologetic and prompt about coming. My friend that recommended him said that I got a very deal on pricing. All in all, very pleased that I used Alert Plumbing.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Ours is a remodeled house with an added length of drain line between the new bathroom and the old drain line. There was a plug of tree roots near the street - 135 ft from the closest access (a toilet). Alert (Danny and Jesse Ochoa) cleared the plug with a 200 foot snake and then excavated and installed two new clean-outs: one at the house (4 ft deep) and one at 55 feet (6 ft deep) so, in future, any "average" rooter can deal with a plug. Price includes 3 future clean-outs (free) if there is trouble within three years. Pleasant men to work with, realistic about the task and negotiable on price. More expensive than I expected, but the job was bigger than I realized. They made effective use of their CCTV camera and tracker to locate the pipe and position the clean-outs, worked hard, and cleaned up afterwards. I will use them again if I have another problem. As they say on their truck " ...when you want it done right!". As an engineer, I appreciate that approach.

This is a licensed business formed by five brothers. They are all neat, very polite, considerate, clean up after the job, and know the plumbing business very well. Their prices are reasonable. They carefully check their work and do the job right the first time. Finally, they arrive on time and promptly get to work. I definitely would recommend them to my friends.
